Dec. 5 Update — Police have identified the man killed in a car crash on Dec. 4 as Mark Carro, 71, of Dublin. A section of Muirfield Drive was closed but reopened around 6 p.m. The crash is still under investigation.
Dec. 4 Release — Dublin Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash on Muirfield Drive near Whittingham Drive. Around 2 p.m., Dublin Police and Washington Township Fire Department responded to a crash involving two vehicles. An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver was not injured.
Police have closed the southbound lanes of Muirfield Drive from Craigston Court South to Kentigern Place Drive as the investigation continues.
